Promotional any ideas other than social websites?

I’m trying to start a foundation for a online career but first I need followers, friends and re post. I’m new and need some advice on how to promote a free page on this site. I’m looking to getting my own domain if all goes well. I am only going to post helpful or interesting things. I would appreciate any and all help.

Do a search of the forums. There are literally thousands of tips already here.
You have it backwards: you don’t start out by getting a following, then doing things. You get a following by doing things that are interesting.
