Proofread button causing interface problem

  When I click on the “Proofread” button in the text editor, the buttons suddenly line up on the screen along the left edge of the text field.

  Have cleared cache and cookies and it didn’t help, and I can’t find any setting that could be causing this. Any ideas how I can fix this?
