  Why has the spell check disappear since the new layout of WordPress? It use to be available in the editor menu on both the website and app version. But I can not see any option to spell check an post we write. Will this be returning, or where is it hidden? It can be frustrating when writing a post and there is no function to do proofreading.

  The proofreading feature that was in the old editor is not in the new one. It is still available from the WP-Admin dashboard. Here’s a link https://YOUR_BLOG_NAME.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php

  Thanks. This is helpful. I didnt know about the WP admin take you to the old layout which has the spell check.
