Proposed Blog – Can i do this ?

    Hi

    I am wanting to have a blog covering football(uk style) and NFL and am deciding whether WordPress.com can accommodate this.

    The blog will cover general articles but I’d also like to add picks and predictions that cover both sports on a weekly basis.

    I read in the user guidelines that I can discuss gambling , but not operate a gambling service or link to gambling sites.

    I have a couple of questions.

    1. I do not plan to sell my picks and predictions, they are purely for entertainment purposes ( i will have a disclaimer to say this). I presume this is ok?
    2. Can i mention a particular online sports betting site if i don’t link to it ?
      Example would i be able to list 4 picks for the week and then add the odds for those picks on one of the online sports betting sites but not link to it?

    An example page would look something like :

    NFL Picks Week 1.

    Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit, sed do eiusmod tempor incididunt ut labore et dolore magna aliqua. Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat.     Bears +3.5

    Chiefs -7.5

    Combined Odds of 6.2/1 at Bet365

    The type of blog you mentioned sounds okay, but I’d reiterate that as long as you are following our policies about gambling located on https://wordpress.com/support/user-guidelines/ you will likely not be violating our Terms of Service https://wordpress.com/tos.
