Proprietary sites

  I have been working with a WordPress site for awhile, but I know that the intellectual property I create should be earning me a living. Does WordPress.com offer a template designed for sites that offer proprietary content, including a way to collect funds using PayPal, Visa, etc.?

  On a WordPress.COM blog you can sell only products you personally create and/or services that you personally provide.

  If you do not have that upgrade you can post a PayPal button http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/

  If you have a shopping cart set up for your own products or services elsewhere online you can create a custom menu and include a custom link to it in the menu.

  WordPress.com allows bloggers to insert text affiliate links within post and page content to most third-party affiliate programs, provided they are not the primary content of the site in question.

  If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.

  @tomlangtry – based on what you posted in another site, you are in the wrong forum and most of what @timethief has posted above is useless to you and a waste of her time since your other question is about a WordPress.ORG install
