Prorated Credit

  • Unknown's avatar

I see in my “Upgrades” a message that says “You have $48.00 of pro-rated credits available from your current plan. Apply those credits towards an upgrade before they expire!”

Is this from the refund that I previously requested? If so, I would prefer to be refunded that amount of money rather than be credited that amount. I have no need for the pro-rated credits.

Please let me know if there’s any way I can be refunded this amount.

    Thanks.

  • Hi there,

To clarify, that “credit” represents the current value of your Personal Plan ($48/yr) if you were to decide to upgrade to a higher plan.

Say for example you decided you need features from the Business plan, which is normally $299/year. However, we would not charge you full $299 since you already have the Personal plan. Instead we would would credit you for the cost of the Personal plan so you pay less than the full cost.

    i.e. $299 – $48 = $251 the reduced cost you would pay.

However the credit you see can’t be converted to a cash refund, it can only be used toward the cost of a higher plan. Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
