Protect free speech by enabling https on custom domains and offering https-only
-
Hi all,
Last years 2012 was a success in the areas of freedom, according to the Electronic Frontier Foundation, thanks to the use of HTTPS in mainstream services and websites.
I think it would be a huge win for the internet and for privacy, to enable the option for blog administrators to protect their users through the use of https only on their blogs, and also to utilize custom https certificates for domains hosted on wordpress.com
For me, it is such a huge issue that I am considering migrating wordpress.com permanently (though I am admittedly a huge fan of HTTPS).
