    Hi Folks,

Please, please pardon me if this has been covered. But, I could not find a specific answer to my concern:

I want to create a membership section on my website, using wordpress. The ideal situation would be to be able to hide and secure a number of pages which, when properly logged into, would be visible to all members. Then, there should be the ability to have other private pages that would be visible to specific members, without logging in or having to have another password.

Picture an organizations website where all members see most pages, and other pages are confidential only to individual members.

What is the easiest way to do this so that, when a new page is created, I would just have to specify if it is visible to all members of a group, or to one member only.

Thanks so much, in advance, for any help you can give me…

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello there,

… on my website, using wordpress …

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separeta and run on different software. This is the wordpress.COM support forum. Here we provide support for only those who have free blogs from and being hosted by wordpress.COM. We Volunteers cannot provide an accurate answer to your questions until you post the URL for the blog in question

To save yourself some time be posting to the wrong forum please read this sticky post at the head of this forum. https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/please-read-me-first-before-posting?replies=1

If it proves that you have a wordpress.ORG install then this is the correct forum for your software > http://wordpress.ORG/support/

But if your are indeed referring to a free blog from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM then the URL is what we need.

    Thanks, in advance. :)
