‘Protected blog’ but it’s not

  When I share my blog address, for example in a Facebook post, the following snippet appears:

  Protected blog > login
  https://coachaaronthomas.wordpress.com/

  The blog isn’t a ‘protected blog’ as far as I am aware. I made it ‘public’ a couple of days ago.

  Any suggestions?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  1. To verify, are you sure your WordPress.com site privacy is not set to “Private”/”Protected” on this page?

  2. Is this about the homepage of your site or a certain post/page link?

  3. Have you tried processing that link over Facebook debugger tool on this page https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ to force Facebook to fetch that link afresh, and clear all previous cache?

  Definitely not ‘private’. I’ll give the Facebook debugger tool a go. Thank you

  Figured it out! I had deleted the ‘Home’ button from my menu because clicking on the site title takes you back to the Home page anyway. I have replaced the Home menu and now seems to be working. I’m just missing an image now from my snippet.
