Protected Site

  My site is marked public in the settings, but when I try to go directly to the site address, it opens with a page saying that the owner has marked it private and you need a log in and password.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It is still listed as “protected”. Anyone who uses the link gets the log in page saying that the site is marked private.

  People don’t want a link to your log-in page. Are you giving out your correct address which is https://notsosimplelifecom.wordpress.com/

  As @themagicrobot mentioned, usually you had better give out the link of https://notsosimplelifecom.wordpress.com/.

  In addition, I think that clearing a cache of your browser is also a good way to resolve the issue that you are facing. Have you tried it?
