Protecting blog address

  If I want to protect my blog address, does it make sense to create additonal blogs in wordpress with available variations of the name? i.e. angelpowers.wordpress.com; angel-powers.wordpress.com; apowers.wordpress.com;etc.

  No. They will all be readily traceable. Make completely new names.

  Agreed and also note that once you have thought up some completely unrelated unique blog names that you shouldn’t post them here. :)
