protecting documents in a password protected page

Is there a way we can protect documents on a password protected page? My tests have shown that copying a link of a document shared on a password protected page is accessible without having to enter the password.

Hi there – It’s possible to password-protect a page, but if anyone has the direct download link, they can still access that. There’s no way to change that.
What you might do is add a contact form to your site for people interested in the document, and then you can just email it to those people who should have it:

Hi, Thanks for your email. Do you know if a word-press plug-in might be available to offer this type of facility?

Hi Abdul,
I’m not sure – quite possibly. You can search for one here:
