Protecting my blog
-
Hello:
Iam worried that by a mistake (probably mine) I could loose
al the contents of my blog.I am not a expert on WordPress and I am not sure if the way
to protect all the contents of my blog is using a option I have seen
named EXPORT.Will that be enough if I loose the whole thing, to recover from that
Export option???My blog is Cosasdeemilio.wordpress.com in case taht matters.
Thanks Emilio
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Howdy cosasdeemilio!
Here is quote from the Support DocumentIf your blog is hosted here at WordPress.com, we handle all necessary backups. If a very large meteor were to hit all the WordPress.com servers and destroy them beyond repair, all of your data would still be safe and we could have your blog online within a couple of days (after the meteor situation died down, of course). But if you want to back up your blog content manually, you are free to do so by using the My Site → Settings, Export tab option described above. This is certainly still a good idea, especially if you’ve assigned additional users to your blog. Editors and administrators have the ability to delete any posts or pages, and there is no way to recover material that they remove from your blog. You can still keep a back up for your site, here is the complete support document to help you with it. <a href=”https://en.support.wordpress.com/export/
“>ExportHope this helps, let us know for any further questions..!

Yes… I was worried about a comet… on top of my house…
But looks like I am already protected. ;)Why then … the export option and the Plugins making back ups.
I will read your links and I will comment tomorrow, here is very late.
Thanks, I will sleep better today
