  Hey there,

  We have a handy installation guide for Windows Live Writer (WLW) here; try following along and ensure that everything is entered correctly.

  If you follow the directions and things still aren’t behaving, can you please take a screenshot (directions) of what you’re seeing so I can look into the problem further for you?
