  Hi dpalaciosufledu,

  Your WordPress.com account has been activated (the email address has been verified) so I can’t see any reason why you wouldn’t be able to mark palaciosvic.wordpress.com public.

  What happens when you go to My Sites > Settings > General > Privacy and select “Public”? Are you seeing an error message?
