My blog cannot be viewed by the public even though I have gone to settings, clicked on reading and chosen allow search engines to index this site. It still says it has been marked private by its owner. What do I do?

I have not fixed the problem, it still says that my blog is marked private by its owner, which it is not. Please help me rectify this problem.

I can see it just fine from my computer. Try clearing your browser cache or trying another browser? You may be looking at an older, cached version.

It seems as though people who have already logged into my blog are able to access it, but when I type into a browser that hasn’t accessed it, it still says it has been marked private- very odd.

Are you just typing it straight into the browser bar? I can see the blog just fine. If you are trying to follow a link from Facebook, well FB probably still has the idea that it’s private. If that’s the case, disconnect Publicize and flush your Facebook cache, and then re-connect it.
