public access

    Hi; just set up my blog and noticed that people can get into my settings and control the blog like I can. All the icons that I see in the top bar, and the customise icon at the bottom right corner is available for anyone that goes on to my blog to control. How do I change this?
    Thanks

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hello karynloui,

    Are you the only user on your blog? Then you are the only one that can see those options. Take a look at your blog in a private window or in using incognito mode — do they go away?

    Thanks for your reply!
    I had a friend go in from her side, and she needed my username and password to access it, as it came up as a private site. So I read another post on this forum that suggested to go into the dashboard, and then into settings, and change the search engines to ‘allow search engines to index this site’. So would this will allow people to get into the blog, but have no access into it. If that makes any sense.
    Thanks

    You are correct. Your blog is currently viewable by anyone, but only you can make changes.
