Public accessibility

Hi. I’ve been building a site on WordPress for about the last month. I’ve completed it and sent it to my linguistics instructor for assessment but he says he can’t navigate to any of my pages from my site’s main page. As far as I can tell the site is public. Can you give me some advice? Thanks.

Hi there,
So I see what your instructor means. On your home page, you have several images that do not link to a page, and you do not have a menu bar with links to the various pages you have created. At the moment, there is no way to navigate off your site’s front page, even though I see that you have made several assignments and other pages.
What I would suggest is to create a navigation bar that provides linkable menus to the other pages of your site:https://wordpress.com/support/menus/create-a-menu/#create-a-menu-in-the-site-editor
Did you want to link the images on your front page to other pages? If so, you can do so via the steps from our support page:
A link is a word, a group of words, or an image that you can click on to go to a new page. This guide will show you how to create links on your site. Add Links to TextMethod One: The Link ButtonMethod Two: Copy and PasteMethod Three: Type [[ Edit an Existing LinkRemove an Existing LinkOpen a Link in a New TabAdd Links to ImagesBlogrollLinking Images in the Classic Editor Add Links to TextHope this helps. Let us know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
