Your blog is only a few days old. It can sometimes take several weeks for the search engines to pick up a new blog (though it’s usually quicker).
You’ve set it up right so there’s no reason it won’t be indexed soon.
-
Since your blog is virtually all images, and very little text, it is important that you include “alt text” tags when you insert your images otherwise, as I remember, the search engines will not index them.
Also, go to settings > privacy and make sure that “I would like my blog to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Sphere, Technorati) and archivers” is selected. If not, select it and then save the changes.
You can also submit your blog URL directly to google: http://www.google.com/addurl/ .
You also might want to go through the google verification process. Here at .COM we have to use the HTML verification which is covered in the second link below.

One thing is though, I would suggest going through all of your posts, editing the photos (click on photo, then click on the edit button that appears in the upper left of the image) and adding in “alt” text. Just a short description, a couple words.

@tellyworth, I’m seeing posts clear back to July 10, 2008. Was it recently imported into this blog?
-
The posts weren’t imported so presumably the dates were edited. The blog was created on 2008-09-15. Its privacy setting is correct.
It’s not usually necessary to submit your blog to Google – WordPress.com is heavily indexed and Googlebot will probably find your blog before you do that.

Choosing a blogname that is a common phrase is going to cause you problems in Google terms, because thousands and thousands of people use that expression online, and right now most of them have more googlejuice than you do.
I’ve seen this repeatedly. A unique name may be harder to remember at first, but in the long run will pay off more than a common expression, and not just in terms of googlejuice. I’m involved in a fight with a group around town that calls themselves Jet Set (no trademark). I wrote something with an airplane theme, and they told everyone I’d “stolen” the idea from them. Please! And someone in the forums was complaining last week that someone had “stolen” their URL at WordPress…although they hadn’t registered their blog at WordPress, just on Blogger…but he was using the same, very common expression.
