Public cannot view
-
Hello,
I am new in this leadership role and we are going through changes. Our website has been offline. I restored from most recent backup. However, when I go to the domain, it just asks to login to word press. When I go to previous made pages, it says “public” setting. However, I am not sure what is happening.
Any advice on how to make the website viewable again? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello @cswmctw,
Thanks for reaching out! We understand the importance of getting your website back online as you navigate through changes in your leadership role. In the future, you can use https://wordpress.com/help/ to get in touch with our support team for a faster reply since your site is hosted with us on the Creator plan, which includes priority support.
It seems like the restored website is prompting for a WordPress login. I enabled the WordPress.com login feature on your website so you should be able to access the dashboard here: https://communitysw.com/wp-admin/. You can read more about this feature here: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-com-secure-sign-on-sso/#about-wordpress-com-log-in.
Since you’re taking over I suggest reviewing the site’s plugins to get familiarized with how it was built, at
My Site > Plugins. If you have any further questions or if there’s anything else related to your goals for this site that we could help you with, please let us know.I’m eager to help you make the most of your website during this transitional period, so feel free to share more about how we can support you.
Cheers!
