Public Profile settings lists My Sites, cannot access due to Access Restrictions
-
In my Public Profile settings for username ”caronmargarete” it lists under My Sites the site anafricansqueen.wordpress.com and fromwhoatogo.wordpress.com, and yet, I cannot access either of them.
For example, when I select either of their links, I’m directed to a new tab that says:
http://anafricansqueen.wordpress.com/ [Or, http://fromwhoatogo.wordpress.com/%5D is marked private by its owner. You can:
– Request access to view the site. We’ll send your username to the site owner for their approval.
– Log out and sign in as different user. You’re logged in as ’caronmargarete’.
– Learn about privacy settings. When I select the first option to request access, I receive the email to my email address, the same one linked to this username. Irrespective of which site I try to open I receive this link in the access email: http://fromwhoatogo.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php?action=add_user&user_login=caronmargarete
From the link in my email I am taken to a new tab that says:
User caronmargarete Cannot Access the Dashboard Requested
You are logged in as ”caronmargarete” and do not have the necessary privileges to access the dashboard for ”From Whoa to Go”. If you are not ”caronmargarete”, please log out, and log back in with your username. If you are ”caronmargarete” and you need access, please ask an administrator of the site to invite you.So… yeah, help needed to work out how it is I cannot access my own site/s.
Cheers,

This is all going to boil down to how many username accounts you have and exactly which one registered which blog. There is only one means of account recovery so please read on.
You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard.
Clicking this link should display all your blogs registered under the same username, including the hidden ones: https://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/index.php?page=my-blogs&show=hidden
If you do not see the blog here http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/ then
follow this guide > http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/#my-blogs-dashboard-visibilityIf you have lost your log-in information you can visit https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword
If required please complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums which are available to everyone with internet access.
