Hi, thanks for trying to help, but when I go into settings, I don’t get the vertical list of options:
General
Writing
Reading
Discussion
that your instructions say I should go to. The only settings page I can find gives me a horizontal row of options: Reader; Stats; My Blogs; Freshly Pressed, so maybe I’m going to the wrong ‘settings’ page. Can anyone tell me how I can make my wordpress public, other people have their free viewable to the general public at one click.
Please help.

Hi,
You are an angel, thanks for helping. Please can I ask you some more questions? When I google my full name with the wordpress, my wordpress website does not appear in the search results. Is there anything I need to do to make search engines know that it exists?
Kind regards,
Ayla Michelle Demir.

It can take weeks for search engines to index your blog content. It’s publishing posts (not pages) with unique content that cannot be located elsewhere on the internet that attracts search engine attention.
The process we use for verifying free hosted WordPress.com blogs with search engines is found here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/
Note: Even if you do not verify the blog the content will be indexed by search engines so don’t feel panicky about this please.
WordPress.com provides the search engines with site maps. We bloggers do nothing. http://en.support.wordpress.com/sitemaps/

Hello,
I wonder if you can help with me again. When I am signed into my wordpress account and view my blog on the customize appearance webpage, it shows the colours I have chosen and saved several times, but when I’m signed out view my blog as a member of the public, the colours I customize my blog to don’t appear and instead I see a horrible dark grey colour in many areas. What is going on? Why can’t I see my colours?

How did you customize the site? Using Theme Options or using the Custom Design preview? If the former, there is a problem because those should be showing up. If the latter, the changes won’t be visible to the public unless you buy the upgrade.

Hi, thanks for getting in touch. How do I find and use Theme Options to choose my wordpress site colours? If you could send me a link and instructions, that would be really helpful. Kind regards, Ayla Michelle Demir.

Take a look at this article explaining the customizor and how to access other settings you need on your blog:
http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2013/03/28/customizer-and-other-settings-options/The settings you may want to adjust are found under the Appearence module:
http://aylamichelledemir.wordpress.com/wp-admin/Here is the link to the customizer:
http://aylamichelledemir.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php
Theme options can vary from theme to theme:

Hi, when I go to set my colours in customizer:
http://aylamichelledemir.wordpress.com/wp-admin/customize.php it only allows me change my background colour and nothing else. That’s odd, it should allow me change other areas of my wordpress page. -
It is theme dependent: some themes allow you to change link or title colors, most do not for free.
If you need to change other colors than your theme allows, then you’ll have to purchase the custom design upgrade:
