Publication Dates Are Wrong
-
Hi,
I want to create a few posts dated by some dates several years ago. I specify the date from the past in the Edit Post page -> Publish section -> Published On control. However, it seems that it works only partially. In some places there is the date from the past, but in other places I see the present date, i.e. the date of actual publishing. Namely:
– The generated URL shows the correct date in the past
– The Archive panel shows the correct months and years in the pastbut:
– The displayed dates of all posts are present dates.
– When I click on an archive, I see “Archive for October, 2009”, i.e. the present date
– The Edit Post page -> Publish section -> Published On control displays the current date, although when I click Edit, I see the correct date in the past.Is this a bug? Is there a change it can be fixed any soon?
Thanks!

Just thought it’s worth mentioning that the date is rather distant past, around 1919-1930

Dont most systems work on a hundred year calendar, reseting in 1980/2080?
Not sure, but I had a similar problem on my phone, and tech support said that was the reason…

Τhe system won’t handle anything prior to 1970 – see here:
