  Hi Kathryn,
  I was trying to set up the publication theme and Im confuse with few stuffs, here it is:
  1. I want to upload image on the header, but I don’t know how to upload it.
  2. How to change and add the menu tab?

  Hi there. :)

  1. I want to upload image on the header, but I don’t know how to upload it.

  Publication will display the Featured Image for the first post on your site in the header area of your home page.

  To set a Featured Image: Select the option to Edit while viewing your latest post, select the Featured Image panel to the right of your editor, and then upload your image.

  As an extra note: The Featured Image works best when its 2000px wide and 1500px high.

  2. How to change and add the menu tab?

  Publication includes a hamburger icon in the upper right that can be clicked to view your site’s menu. It’s not possible to change the icon without using custom CSS.

  If you’re instead trying to make edits to your actual menu, then you can navigate to My Site (in the top left of WordPress.com) and select Menus from the left sidebar. We have further step-by-step guidance here:

  Hi there,
  Thanks for replying me. Well, actually I had tried to find the menu about the header. But, I still cannot find it. Instead, I found that there is an option of header text. But there is no button to upload the image. I watched the video that you sent me, but I know how to upload the featured image. I already tried it for About.
  It’s just for the header, Im still wondering how to put image on it.
  Right now, my blog appears empty without background pictures.

  For menu, Im still try to figure it out. Thanks

  Hi Agnes,

  Publication approaches custom headers a little differently to other themes you may have come across.

  Instead of seeing a menu option to upload a custom header, you can instead upload a Featured Image to individual posts and pages. Featured images act in the same way as a custom header would with this theme.

  Let me know if that helps to clarify the way this theme works or if you have any further questions.
