Publication theme not aligned
-
Hi
Have you tried with another browser? It seems that something is wrong in your computer, and not on WordPress.
Here your website is perfect, no cut titles, and the content+widgets perfectly centered on the screen.
here’s a printscreen: https://pedger.files.wordpress.com/2015/07/multiple_sclerosis_common_emotional_changes_flipout4ms_-_2015-07-28_13-28-33-e1438082970827.png

It is very very strange. Sorry but I can’t provide you with more info about that, since I can’t reproduce what you are seeing, here in my browsers.
I can provide you the code to center only the title and menu of the header
Access your customization page, and under CSS section insert the following code:
.entry-header {margin:auto}Try that and see if fits your needs, at least partially

I found the code here http://buildinternet.com/2008/11/how-to-center-a-website-with-css/
It is actually worse! It really seems the problem is in this computer screen . I will try at home. I have spent for the CSS Custom Design for nothing! :( boo -
Also I don`t get why if in Reading setting I ask to show only the last 7 posts, it shows instead all the posts.
-
Ahh found the problem ! The infinite scroll! Sorry about that. still learning! :) I still see the page weird here but I trust you! Have a nice day! :*

thoughtless1982 – I’m seeing the same layout issue when the browser is resized to 1070px wide – the left side gets cut off. I’ll report this to our developers so they can have a look and we’ll keep you posted here. Thanks for letting us know!
-
ohh thanks! Finally! Here at work in every computer everybody see title cut! Thanks a lot!!! I hope you can sort out the problem!!
-
@thougtless1982
In the end the problem was not with your browser, but with the screen size you were using against Publication Theme styles, at least Kathynwp could track the issue and address it to the developers.Thank you for your trust, sorry that I could not help 100%, and you’re welcome!
Just one more tip: you can get a refund for the Premium Plan if you don’t need the CSS customization after all. Please visit Refund – Support Page
@kathynwp
Thank you as well! I’ve done what I could to reproduce it here, but without success. -
No worries, pedger! When I saw Stefi’s screenshot, it looked quite low-resolution to me, which is what gave me the idea to make my browser window smaller. We’ll keep this thread posted with updates on a fix in the theme.
-
@kathynwp
Yes, I did realize that the resolution was low, but I tried to check with devoper tools and aparently jumped over that specific resolution. On smaller resolutions the theme adjust the elements so this issue is not perceivable.Thank you
-
Thank you guys,
Looking forward to see if you can adjust the issue. Great as usual. :) I will look for the updates here from time to time.
Thanks :) -
Btw I love this theme! It’s absolutely beautiful! I really hope you can sort this little issue. On my 15 inches laptop looks stunning. You guys from the wordpress forum are absolutely the best, much more than any other platform such as w..x.com or bl….ot.com (censoring myself :) ).. I don’t mind have paid for the css. I would like also get rid of the ads. I will do that too. Thanks again.

Aw, thanks for the kind words – that’s great to hear!
The layout glitch has been reported and we’ll definitely keep you posted on a fix.
-
You are very welcome! How long is going to take? Do you think is something very difficult to fix? Thanks again :*

There is any way I can contact directly the developer? I am starting getting emails from people who see my website with titles cut. :( I really like the theme so I would like to keep it, but apparently in every screen with a resolution of >1070px wide (which is basically every modern computer) the titles of main post are cut. Very sad about it.
Is there any other option than change the theme ? -
We’ll definitely keep you posted. Our developers fix issues in order of priority, so I can’t give you an ETA.
apparently in every screen with a resolution of >1070px wide (which is basically every modern computer) the titles of main post are cut.
That’s not what I’m seeing here – almost every browser size – including very wide ones – displays the content perfectly, it’s only at that very small resolution of specifically 1070px wide that there’s an issue. If I drag my browser window larger and smaller, the content looks great at every size except that very specific one.
You are very welcome to switch themes as a temporary measure, and switch back once our developers have had a chance to take a look.
-
Hi! thanks for your answer. I am going to wait as I really like this one indeed! :) And also thanks for your further feedback around screen resolution. :) I will check again here to see if there is any post.
Thanks again
Stefi
