Publicising on Twitter
-
Hello there,
I originally connect my blog to my original twitter account (@daftcobra97).
Recently, I created a new account for the blog specifically (@AaronLCollins).
Because of this, I disconnected the original account from the blog and attemptted to connect to the new one.
However, when I try to do this by clicking the authorise app, the message “invalid/missing verification nonce” appears.
Both accounts are active by the way.
Hopefully you can fix this. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing your response.
Kind regards,
Aaron

Hi Aaron,
I’m not totally sure, but you might also need to revoke your access to your first account up on twitter. Go to your twitter settings.
https://twitter.com/settings/applications
I hope that clears it up. If not, make sure you screen capture or write down any error message you get when you try to authorise again. Then try to search WordPress suppport (or forums) and Google that error message to see what comes up.
good luck,

@aaronlloydcollins It sounds like you’ve already tried what @marklchaves suggested. Since this was marked for Staff assistance, let’s now wait for them.
NB-timethief provided you with the link to the relevant support document https://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-services in your other thread. Searching these forums is a good idea, but when searching Google, you’ll want to double-check that any solution provided is relevant for sites hosted on WordPressdotcom.

Hi Aaron,
I had a look at your Sharing settings and only one Twitter account is connected: @AaronLCollins97. Are you still have problems with this?
If you are, please clear your browser cache and cookies. There are instructions for different browsers here:
Have you tried connecting using a different browser?
Let me know how you get on.
