Publicising on Twitter attaches wrong handle.
-
Whenever my blog automatically shares a post on Twitter it says “via @relentlesslife_” my twitter handle however is @relentlife – I have already changed it in the “Twitter username to include in tweets when people share using the Twitter button.” section but its still doing it!
Please help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello there!
I cleared your site’s cache, and all appears to be working well, now.
This is what I see when I click your Twitter sharing buttons on your blog:
https://cloudup.com/cWzlh4rIp4NI hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!

Also whenever I share a blog post on twitter it immediately associates itself with the @relentesslife_ user.

Hey there!
Here are the instructions on clearing your cache:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cacheAlso, try to post via Twitter with another browser, and let me know how this works!
Thank you!

It only appears to work on the ‘About Forever Endeavour’ page – theo ne in your screen shot. Perhaps repeating you fix on all the pages will work?
-
Okay I’ve cleared the cache on Google Chrome and IE and neither have worked.
Whatever you did before worked on the about FE but not the rest of the site.

Hi there!
I deleted your Twitter handle from your general sharing settings. Then, I re-added it (along with the @ symbol before the handle). When I attempt to share on any other page, I am seeing the correct handle.
However, it appears to me as if your posts are still displaying the old user name. Please click below:
http://en.gravatar.com/profiles/edit#verified-services
Add Twitter as a verified service, then let me know when you’re done.
After that, I’ll continue to work on these settings for you. Thank you!

Right, thanks for bearing with me on this Robyn!
I have now added @relentlife as the verified twitter service on that gravatar link.
What next?

Hi there!

Very helpful.I’ve done some cleanup on your settings. Could you take a look at your blog post/Twitter sharing buttons now?
Thanks so much! :)

Hi again!
Hm….It is working for us now. Could you clear your cache (again! sorry), or take a look at those buttons on another browser or computer?
Here’s what I’m seeing on your latest post:
https://cloudup.com/cXFjaoGI8nxLet me know where you’re seeing the old Twitter handle.
Thanks!

I’m seeing the old twitter handle on all browsers despite changing the sharing settings and clearing cache’s.

Hi there!
It looks like the fix that Robyn ran didn’t run through all of your posts. I just did it a few more times to fix the rest of them. Can you clear your cache and take a look now?
-
Okay thanks, as an update it appears to be working nowo n some of the posts but not all of them.
Also the ones its working on it has two ‘@’ in front of it.
-
Can you give me a link to where its not working? and a link where you’re seeing the double @ sign?
-
Here it’s not working: http://foreverendeavour.net/2015/02/05/the-history-of-londons-most-iconic-logo/
And here it has two @’s http://foreverendeavour.net/portfolio/london-photography-2/
-
Alright. That first link has the handle @relentlesslife without the underscore. Our system sees this as different from @relentlesslife_ so I needed to run our tool to fix these as well. This should be fixed now.
The second one I’m not able to fix, so I’m going to ask a developer to take a look.
