  hey, i am fairly new and don’t write to often, but I was hoping to find a way to get my blog a little more well known so that more people will read it. any suggestions?

  Hi, since you are new-ish you may want to check out http://learn.wordpress.com/ It includes several suggestions on how to build traffic.

  Also the forums are full of previous discussions on this topic. You may want to read those as well: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/search.php?q=traffic I found them by searching for the word “traffic”.

  The Support docs are also your friend and finding more readers is such a popular topic, there’s even an entire section on Traffic http://en.support.wordpress.com/topic/traffic/

  Hope those will get you started.

  You may have heard other people say this but its good to read other people’s blogs and comment on them. Its a great way to meet friends too. Especially blogs that share the same interest as you. I enjoy reading other people’s blogs too and hope that they will in turn read mine. Good luck with your blog and I’ll go and visit it right now! :)
