How did my posts get connected to Facebook without my changing the setting?

I have no idea how that could possibly have happened. if you did not connect Publicize, networked blogs or RSS Grafiti then I don’t have a clue how to help you.

I have never had them connected, and then all of the sudden my latest post shows up there. I’m trying to understand if it’s because of WordPress, or because of Facebook.
-
Exactly where is it showing up? Is it on your Facebook profile page? Is it appearing on a Facebook fan page?
-
Facebook profile page. I’ve managed to delete all connections between the two. I just don’t know how they connected to begin with.
-
This is very weird. I have never heard of this happening to anyone else. Are you the only user on your blog? Is there another Admin or Editor who could have set this up?

This is strange and very discomforting give that you did not set this up and do not choose to have any sharing buttons. I have flagged this thread for Staff attention as they may be able to solve this mystery.

Publicize has never been set on your account, so there appears to be something else feeding these to Facebook.
Would you please take a screenshot of the post on Facebook and upload that via Media -> Add New in your blog’s Dashboard so we can take a look?

Hi. Thank you for your reply. As I prefer them to be disconnected, I deleted it from my Facebook pages, so I cannot take a picture. I also disabled any type of sharing from my Facebook account. As I deleted the post (it took three times to remove it from the new “Timeline” page, Facebook prompted something about a WordPress App? –This is also something I never added to my account. I have, however, posted blog entries manually (shared status) from another blog that I post on, “Motiphoto,” so this, in my opinion, is how Facebook could have understood that I use WordPress. I will direct my inquiry with Facebook as well. But, even if Facebook initiated the connection, how could it get approved access leading to publicizing posts?

The WordPress App would be something you added on the Facebook side, not on the WordPress side.
