The post I put up this morning does not appear in the reader. From what I’ve read, it is supposed to happen automatically, but it didn’t on this post, this morning. Can you add it there now? Can I repost?
I’ve reconnected to facebook, which also didn’t work this morning and now i hope this problem is resolved.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You have an aggregate of 18 tags and categories on that post. That’s far too many. Keep it under 15, a dozen to be safe. That many tags will get you suspended from the Tag pages and Reader and may also interfere with your RSS feed, I’m thinking.

Oh! I didn’t know there was a limit. Especially when they offer other ideas for tags after you post. I thought the more the merrier! Thanks for the tip – will be more discerning – Sharon

All reasons for non-appearance of posts on Topics pages can be found here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/topics/#missing-posts
As you have assigned a combined total that exceeds 15 Categories/Tags to your posts, you need to edit and delete. http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/ After removal note it may take several days for your posts to begin displaying there.For tips on tagging see > http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2013/03/15/quick-blog-post-tagging-tips/

I published a draft today (4/17/13) and it backdated the post to 4/1/13. Now I’m way down the list of categories and topics. Does anyone know why that happened, and if I can republish or repost? After I hit “publish,” I waited several seconds before I signed out. At that point, I lost it. But why would it publish with a date two weeks prior. And I know it wasn’t published already because it was still in draft form. Anybody?

I’ve lowered the number of tags. Can I post again with a different title to see if it goes into the reader? This post has lots of important info (at least I think so…) on an important and lesser known aspect of nutrition – probiotics. It would be nice to know that it is searchable on wordpress.

@vinnygret
After removal note it may take several days for your posts to begin displaying on the WordPress.com Topics pages.The WordPress.com search engine indexes post, pages, and comments content (body text). Unless entered as text in those contents, blog name, post titles, and post/comment author names are not indexed. http://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpresscom-search/
Lastly, note that is’ Google and other search engine that send a significant amount of traffic to blogs not the Topics pages. There’s no way I would break a link to a blog already indexed by search engines to do what you propose or for the reason your state. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2011/08/05/avoid-creating-404-pages/

Thank you Timethief. That answers my last question. I may have to wait, but the post will appear in the reader eventually. I’ll read that info on the link you recommend.
