Publicize and Google
-
Currently the publicize feature incorporates auto updates to Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, Messenger and LinkedIn. However, my referral page shows that I’m getting an equal number of hits from Facebook connections as I am from Google+ connections. These incorporate two different audiences. The Facebook page is only people I directly know, but the Google+ page includes people in my field who I respect but don’t have a direct personal relationship.
Is WordPress going to incorporate a publicize feature for Google+, and if so when could we expect to see it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
Only staff will know this, but given that they added +1 to sharing I would expect that they will also add it to publicize, but no one knows when, or even if really. Hopefully they will respond here.

I’m manually posting the link , this is very hard !!!!!!!
please Add Google+ to Publicize . -

Yes, please!
I added the +1 button, of course, but soooooo need the sharing option!
Also, the princess bride references made me laugh – thanks! That will keep me breathing while we wait!

You have failed to either post a link to your free hosted WordPress.com blog or to link your username to it. Here’s how to link your username to your primary blog. Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Website‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes. Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.
By sharing option if you mean sharing icons for your visitors to use then see here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/sharing/

Uh, didn’t fail, but chose not to. Thanks, though.
I mean the sharing option same as the above thread – where our posts can automatically go to Twitter, FB, etc., but not yet Google+.
When I comment on blogs, I am linked. That’s not a problem.

To be crystal clear until you post link to the blog in question we cannot provide you with support. We must confirm whether or not the blog is “private” whether or not the blog is actually being free hosted by WordPress.COM or is a WordPres.ORG install.Note that Volunteers cannot see into “private” blogs we can only see the log-in and that’s how we can tell which of the two the blog is and provide the correct answers to questions being asked. Every day we experience about 30% of the bloggers posting here who are actually posting to the wrong support forum. Every day we have cagey bloggers who will not post the URL for the blog in question.
In this case the instructions I pointed to are ONLY for free hosted WordPress.com blogs. In all cases any search engine issues are between the blogger and the search engines. I hope all this typing has cleared things up for you. Please post an active link starting with http:// for the blog in question.

I did not need support and did not have a question. Someone already asked the question (see the first of this thread by Eric), and people answered it (see their responses). I was agreeing, and being grateful for having found my answer. Thank you!

You’re most welcome and not to worry. As this is an Ideas Forum thread (ie. suggestions for Staff consideration thread) I’m sure they will be able to sort out what applies and what doesn’t apply.
-
RIght, that’s why I came here. The idea is we need a sharing option for Google+, just like the other options (FB, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) as he said in the top thread. That’s what I was glad to see, that it was being discussed. Great, thanks!
