Publicize and scheduled posting

I scheduled a post to be published and made deliberately sure that Twitter and Facebook were unchecked in the Publicize option of the post. It still publicized the post. In Twitter, it was just the link. In Facebook, it was an abstract of the post.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We need the URL of the blog and in this case particularly the exact post in order to be able to give you insights.

Thanks, Interesting. Did the link published actually work? I’ve noticed some strange discrepancies with such things lately, often the URL on the Publicize option is wrong because it has the wrong date built into it.
My suggestion is to alert staff via http://support.wordpress.com/contact They are the only ones who can tinker with this behind the scenes stuff, and it doesn’t look like you did anything wrong.
It could well be a bug with the theme, as it’s relatively new.

Yeah, the link worked. I copied and pasted the twitter one and just clicked on the Facebook one. I figured I probably had to contact support, but I just wanted my fellow bloggers to be aware of the issue.

I have experienced the same issue, note couple of redundant posts on my twitter page. I made sure that I uncheck the Publicize twitter (because I am also using Twitterfeed) but the post still showed up from Wordress.
However, I am running into several other RSS related issues, so yours could be a different problem. I would report this issue to Support, refer them to this forum page as well.
