Publicize and Twitter threads – image support?

    Hi! I would like to use the Twitter Thread feature (yes I know that’s a Jetpack support article, but it looks like the WPcom Publicize article isn’t up to date and doesn’t include information on it, even though the feature does appear to be available to WPcom sites as well). I’m wondering how it handles images, and more specifically, multiple images? Let’s say I write a long blog post with many images, will it use different images in the tweets?

    Hi Richard! You’re correct. The WP.com Publicize article is not up to date. Thanks for highlighting that. I’ll get that info to our docs team so we can get that fixed up.

    While searching, I did find our Twitter support doc looks to be more forthcoming about this feature. https://wordpress.com/support/twitter/#publicize-to-twitter

    It looks like text and images (plural) should appear in the thread.

    or share your entire blog post, along with all of its media, in the form of a Twitter thread.

    If you have time, take a peek at that guide and let us know if that doesn’t quite give the confidence you need to use this feature on your WP.com site. We’re open to feedback, so if something (or some things) could be made clearer there, could you let us know?
