Publicize API 500 error

  When I try to add a Facebook connection to Jetpack’s Publicize, I get
  
Server Error
The website encountered an error while retrieving https://public-api.wordpress.com/connect/?magic=keyring&service=facebook&action=verify&kr_nonce=e2...
HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request.


  And I for over an hour, I’ve gotten that error every time I click on the Publicize Sharing configuration option for adding a Facebook connection. I’m not getting asked again for any options, it only emits that error.
