Publicize : Facebook feature

I enabled the Publicize to Facebook feature for one of my blogs yesterday, but none of my posts show up on the FB Wall even though this is supposed to happen automatically. The FB authorization was successful, and I went back through each of my old posts to manually enable the Publicize links after the authorization went through. Does anyone know what’s going on?

I’m sorry but all I have heard through the grapevine is something has changed at the Facebook end of things. I believe you will have to check there, find out what changed and then contact Staff here. http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

Wow. That’s a bummer because there is no way to contact anyone at Facebook. The only feature they offer is import the blog into the Notes tab, but that’s a pain in the #@$ for users because it takes 3 clicks to get to the original blog post. Do you know if WordPress knows about this issue? The info they offer on the Publicize feature still states very clearly that the blog posts will be automatically sent to the Facebook wall with the Publicize feature enabled.

No I don’t know if Staff here knows about this issue. I suggest you contact them using the link I posted above.

No resolution yet from WordPress support. Very frustrating problem. I have tried everything from refreshing the FB authorization to deleting cookies to restarting. Nothing allows my blog posts to update to the FB Wall.

Pardon me for suggesting this but if all you are posting is snippets of your posts and links to them on your FB wall, then can you not do this manually until the problems are corrected?

I’m new kind of new to using wordpress, but kicked things off on my facebook by copying and pasting a link onto my profile page to allow my friends to get to the blog easy enough. Just a thought :)
