WordPress.com Staff are aware that everyone if frustrated that there is a bug in the Facebook end of things. Yep, I had the same issue as of a couple of days ago. WordPress, once again, changed something that already worked well — much like they did with the annoying “youtube=Xxx” debacle with video posts. I mean, what’s next? So irritating. :(

@ timethief: I understand it’s a FB issue and I did search for a solution on that end in the first place – so far no reply. Still, I hope I am allowed to share my frustration with WP staff and users!

I have also tried contact Facebook twice about the issue and was notified I would receive an email with a Facebook Team Member who would help me resolve the issue, and so far that hasn’t happened yet. This is killing me! I know we all go through a lot of effort to make our posts worthy of reading, and we do the same with our images! And since we’re WordPress.com users we can’t add those dumb meta tags everyone is telling us to put in. I think Facebook or WordPress.com needs to address this immediately, it’s getting REALLY annoying to have to deal with for more than a week, I’m losing traffic… We all are.

@sanasarina-if you read through the entire thread from the beginning, you’ll see that people have offered suggestions and links to alternative ways of posting your content on Facebook until the bug is fixed by FB. Cheers!

None of the suggestions above work to post the images to Facebook. I’ve contacted support (or rather, our “Happiness Engineers”…hahahahaaa), and they replied once, with no reported solution…and then disappeared!

My “Happiness Engineer” ended up telling me to deal with Facebook myself. Big help. Anyway, so I did contact Facebook for help three days ago and, of course, no response from them..

@justjennifer I think you’re referring to using RSS Graffiti as an alternative, an app that can post from RSS blog feeds to Facebook profiles, and posts with images. Good suggestion! Here’s the link:

Yes that’s what she is referring to and what I have been pointing to for ages now. According to everyone I know who has tried it RSS Grafitti works very well. You can post to Facebook Profile pages and Fan pages for groups.
