Publicize – i want only the title, not the content

  When I am publicizing a post on facebook, the title and part of the body show up in the prview. When publishing on facebook, I want to only publicize the title. Not the body. How can I do this?

  Hi!

  The only way to accomplish this that I’ve found is to insert the “More” tag at the very top of your post. The “More” tag is explained here:

  However, this would have repercussions on your blog as well. Instead of full posts appearing on pages like this:

  http://carryonwithbex.com/category/travel/

  Readers would just see the title of the post and then “Read More” with a link. The same thing would happen with new post emails.

  To be honest, this isn’t a great option. There really isn’t a way to limit the Facebook display to only the title with Publicize. You would need to manually publish the link to make this happen.
