Publicize is acting weird

I am confused by how Publicize is posting now.. it is different than when I first started in January.
    1. I create a custom message when I post but when it posts to Google plus, it shows the beginning of my post, not what I wrote.
    2. On Tumblr – Even If I set a “featured image” and write a custom post it posts the whole article and for some reason shows up as greyed icons – see example in my media section.

It would be so helpful if Publicize would allow users to see how it will look on various platforms. I end up having to disable it because it varies so much on different channels.

    Please advise.

    Thank you.

Hello Susan! The first line of attack in this situation is to disconnect Google + and Tumblr, and re-add them.

First delete those connections from Publicize, and then clear your cache and cookies:

Then repeat each step of the Publicize connection process to reconnect Google + and Tumblr:

WordPress.com doesn’t actually define how your posts look on each of your social networking services. They all define their own processes which determine the images that are chosen, and what text is grabbed.

Please get back to me and let me know how this works, and if I can be of further assistance. Many thanks.
