Publicize not available in WordPress install
-
I have WordPress 3.3 installed and am the sole administrator. I do not seem to have Publicize installed — it’s not available in the Settings menu, and there’s nothing on the New Post page about using it. I read http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/ and don’t see anything in particular I need to set (or that’s available for me to set).
Any help appreciated!

The blog you specified at http://www.nobody-knows-anything.com does not appear to be hosted at WordPress.com.
This support forum is for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. If your question is about a self-hosted WordPress blog then you’ll find help at the WordPress.org forums.
If you don’t understand the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, you may find this information helpful.
If you forgot to include a link to your blog, you can reply and include it below. It’ll help people to answer your question.

Publicize is a wordpress.COM thing. It is not a part of wordpress core. You will have to fine a plugin (or plugins) that will allow you the same or similar functionality.
And the correct forum for self-hosted sites like yours is over at wordpress.ORG as the support bot suggests.

On your self hosted WordPress.org install you can use Networked Blogs http://www.networkedblogs.com/ or RSS Grafitti http://www.facebook.com/RSS.Graffiti for posting to Facebook walls if you prefer.
RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify.
You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.
The support documentation at this link http://en.support.wordpress.com is not for self hosting WordPress.org bloggers. The codex is here > http://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page The support forum you must post to is here > http://wordpress.org/support/

I apologize for posting on the wrong forums — while looking for the answers to this I unintentionally moved from wordpress.org to wordpress.com. I realized my error after posting.
Thanks for the pointers to help for my problem. I appreciate it.
