Publicize Not Showing Facebook Total Share Count

    Hi Support,

    I noticed yesterday that the Facebook share button on my website (https://www.bedlamfarm.com/) was no longer showing the total number of times it has been shared (small light blue circle).

    The odd thing is that I am still seeing the Pinterest share counts.

    I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting to Jetpack but that did not do that trick. I have also tried dumping the site cache and sharing a post to my test Facebook a couple times, nothing.

    Do you guys have any thoughts?

    Any insight and help would be much appreciated.

    Hi there,

    Facebook deprecated some portions of their API today, including the method we used to get and display these share counts on these styled buttons. If you’d like to continue displaying those share counts on your site you’ll need to use the official buttons in Settings > Sharing. You can change the dropdown from Icon + text to Official Buttons.
