Publicize not working.
-
I maintain my wordpress page at wordpress.com. I set up publicize through the sharing page, adding 2 twitter and 1 facebook accounts. I just manually published a blog post and it did not publicize to any of the accounts. It was published 22 hours ago.
I am not using jetpack. I saw feedback in other support requests about re-setting that plugin. Since I’m doing this on the website, I have no plugins and I’m just using the Publicize option under sharing.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Same problem, I’ve publish a post today and not compare on Facebook and Twitter account of the Blog.

1. Try flushing your FB cache but disconnect from FB first http://umairj.com/146/how-to-clear-facebook-shares-cache/
2. Try the full reconnect procedure again detailed at http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-facebook including step 3 (removing the FB app), which is probably the most important step.
3. See also publicize troubleshooting http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#troubleshooting
Note: RSS Grafitti http://www.facebook.com/RSS.Graffiti can be used for posting to Facebook walls if you prefer. RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify. You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.

Will you please try reconnecting? If the connection between Twitter and WordPress.com gets disconnected for some reason, don’t worry, just follow these steps and you’ll be back on track again in no time. http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-twitter
Please note that reconnecting Publicize with Twitter and/or Facebook does not re-publicize missed posts, but it will work for future posts.

I reconnected twitter and am waiting for the other admin to reconnect the facebook. I removed the FB connection, refreshed the page and cleared the FB share cache. I have a post publishing tomorrow morning. If it does not tweet again I will let you know.

Just as a heads up, this was my first time using Publicize. No posts have been successful for me, they were new connections.
-
Any posts that were missed must be manually posted. Note that’s not a negative thing as many of us are sick and tired of receiving identical impersonal snippets and links posted across multiple social networks so we ignore them.

I’m not a Publicize user and I don’t auto-post. But as you seem to need more help I tagged this thread for Staff help.

I don’t understand, now don’t work again. I publish a new post but not compare on Facebook and Twitter.

My posts went through to all 3 connections today. THanks! Hopefully it will continue working. The posts aren’t generic either, they posted as I wanted, FB included the title and a brief intro of the first few lines of the blog post, and the tweets included the hashtags and @’s. It’s a great tool when it works!

Oh man. Now it’s publicizing every time I make an update. It’s not supposed to do that right? The publicize boxes are greyed out and checked so I can’t uncheck them :/
this is a problem, because my database service restructured how they pass variables, so the query is passed through the url now which has broken all of my links. I need to update the links, but I don’t want to re-publicize the posts and overwhelm the sites.
-
Ok, the boxes are letting me uncheck them now, but that should be a flag, since it is made so clear that once it’s published, updating does not publicize. Yes, it is publicizing all initial updates on already published posts once publicize is activated.
-
I try to change something in the post and update the post, after a minute the post appear on Facebook and Twitter.
After I try to modify a second post and than the post appear on Facebook and Twitter.
I can be wrong but I think it’s a WordPress problem and not about Facebook or Twitter account.

I just tried this on my own blog and was not able to reproduce the issue.
Please do let us know the URLs of the posts you’re referring to.
