'Publicize on Facebook' function does not show the post title
-
Thanks @tondavusa . My publicized posts tend to have titles, but I’ll look through to see if I can find any that don’t, so I can see how they’re similar to yours.

@supernovia If you’re saying you cannot reproduce it and your FB posts have title, maybe it would be helpful to show us a screenshot to make sure we understand each other.
Maybe try creating the post with special local characters like “ěščřžýáíé”, which tend to make problems.

Thanks for this, @tondavusa (and thanks everyone else for the feedback.)
We’ve been discussing things with the developers. From what I understand, if the post appears to be just an image, video, or gallery (or mostly an image, video, or galleries), it displays differently on Facebook to highlight that type of content.
So that post you linked to displays as a gallery (indeed, without a title – and I’m discussing that with them) because it has so many images, especially in the first few lines of the post. We end up showing a little gallery instead.
Standard posts (those with more text in the first several lines, whether or not they have an image) display with a title and an excerpt of the text.
We are talking about what else we can do, so thanks again for your feedback.

Still I don’t think she understands the issue @tondavusa.
She is still refering to the bottom part. She refuses to attend my explanation:

Good luck. -

To those who have titles but want control over what appears for the excerpt, you do have control over that. Under your options on the left (in the newer editor) you can change the excerpt as you like.
