Publicize Problem

Posts that I send from my flickr to wordpress are not publicized to LinkedIn like they used to be. I reset and readded linkedin and that never worked either.

Are you sharing to LinkedIn from Flickr or from WordPress.com? And have you updated your LinkedIn password after their big password leak? You may have to disable and then re-enable the sharing to get around that.

@raincooaster The way I had it set up before was that any post that I shared from flickr would be posted on my wordpress and then publish itself on my LinkedIn account. I already disconnected and reconnected that account because of that problem but are you saying that I should do the same thing on the LinkedIn side too?

Yes. LlinkedIn was recently hacked, and if you didn’t change your password, you need to. After that, disconnect and then reconnect your WP.com blog to your LinkedIn.

That was one of the first things I did and it was the reason why I did the reconnection I mentioned in my first post; it didn’t work.

I don’t know if this is related or not but …
I recently noticed something odd about the LinkedIn share button on my blog. When you go to the main page and pick any post, you will see at the bottom that the LinkedIn share button appears prominently and is working fine. However, if you open any post individually, all the share buttons are there at the bottom except the LinkedIn button. Any others having this issue?
