Publicize Problem

Why am I getting this pop-up message every time I Publicize?
When it happens, I just click “Proceed anyway” but it does trouble me a bit…

This is probably not the site you are looking for!
You attempted to reach notesfromanalien.com, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as *.wordpress.com. This may be caused by a misconfiguration on the server or by something more serious. An attacker on your network could be trying to get you to visit a fake (and potentially harmful) version of notesfromanalien.com.
You should not proceed, especially if you have never seen this warning before for this site.

Sounds like you have rather aggressive protections on your browser. Check your firewall and security setting and whitelist WordPress.com.

I do have live protection running but this is a rather recent problem.

    Also, WordPress is already whitelisted…

Amzolt is right. This is a rather recent problem.

This following warning is now being displayed when readers try to access certain posts via a search engine such as Google.

“This is probably not the site you are looking for!

This is a HUGE problem, and has cut my traffic by 1/3! This needs to be addressed!
