Publicize / publicise images to twitter #properly

    I seem to be able to sometimes get a hashtag to #work in twitter from a wordpress.com post (I only want to do this via sharing blog posts). that’s great.

    however I don’t seem to be able to get images to go to twitter (twitpics???) I would have expected to at least take the featured or #first-shown-image. Is this impossible or am I doing something wrong please?

    The support docs don’t say anything about this specifically, but between my own blog and all the other blogs I also follow on Twitter I’ve not once seen that an image is included along with the publicize link, so I do not think it is possible. If you want your blog posts to appear on Twitter along with a picture you’ll have to create the tweet manually.
