Publicize to Facebook Issue

  Why can’t I uncheck the publicize to facebook box on some posts when I update them?

  I’d like to make edits to some posts but do not want to re-post them to Facebook. When I go to the publicize options on some posts, the checkbox is unclickable, while on others it is clickable. Why is this?

  Hi there,

  You can’t uncheck the publicize settings on a post that’s already posted, because we essentially “turn it off” automatically once you’ve already publicized a post – specifically so you don’t continually post to Facebook or Twitter (or whatever) when you make edits to the post.

  So you don’t have to worry about doing this – we’re doing it for you!
