Publicize to Facebook Page

  Until now, I thought the problem with publicizing to a Facebook Page (not profile) was a Facebook issue. But it seems that it is a WP limitation

  Wonder if it would help if more needed this functionality. We will run a poll to view the interest of this function amongst WP users (and maybe get a little bit of promotion for free).

  Are you aware that you can use Networked blogs or RSS Graffiti?
  http://www.networkedblogs.com/
  RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify. You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.

  Thank you for the reply. First we thought of putting a third answer in the poll, something like “I use RSS apps instead”. But we figured we should stick to the “publicize” function.

  Although, it is very good that you mentioned this here, maybe people visiting this topic will take that your suggested route(s) instead.

  Here’s third method. Use http://getsociallive.com social bookmarks on your posts and the update will be automatic every time you publish.

  I just wanted to be sure you were aware that there are other means of posting to a Facebook page. That’s all. Best wishes. :)

  I think this is the same issue I’m having but I’m not understanding the replies above.
  I want to connect my blog to my facebook page – not my personal profile. TimeThief, are you saying that this can be done but through WP?

  @flippinfactory, No you can’t, not through WP alone as is.

  If you want to better understand the methods mentioned by timethief, you should start a thread, or search for existing threads.
