Publicize to Facebook page and Google

I selected the one image in my last blog post as the featured post

https://copy.com/mQbJYAgponM0This is not the first time this has happened – last time I removed the publicize post from FB and manually posted the link and the featured image showed correctly.
Any ideas on how to stop this happening?

We have no actual control over the images that Facebook chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.
This can be confirmed by searching forum threads.
