Publicizing and time issues
-
I would like to publicize some of my older posts to my Facebook Timeline. The only way I have found to do this is o go into edit mode, and re-save, with the Fb publicize active. So far, so good.
The problem is, on the Fb timeline, they all show up as if I posted them today, not in the past. For example a post made on July 9, 2012, will maintain it’s date in WordPress, but on the Fb timeline it shows up with today’s date.
Is there any way to alter that? If I wrote a post in 2012 that I want to have on my Fb timeline, how do I get it to the correct date in 2012?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Whoops, didn’t work!
Following the directions, I found that “change date” is available in Fb for regular posts, but on the post from WP, there is no change date option. The closest thing is Edit Post, but that doesn’t include editing the date.
Too bad, my main reason of wanting to publicize was to get the info into the Timeline there in the right order of events.
Is this something that can be changed in the Publicizing process, somehow?
Ideas?

Why don’t you just manually post them? FB will be more likely to show them to your followers if you manually post.

So, you mean just post a link direct to the page? I guess that is the only way to do any past ones. Thanks for the input. :)
