Publicizing posts on Facebook – questions about images

Hello,
when I publicize a post via Facebook, an image from the post is selected and displayed as part of the Facebook status update. At the moment, I’m not sure how that image is selected, or how I can change it to display a different image from my post. Is there a way for me to select or edit the image that is shown when I share a post via Facebook?

Hi Donata,
Facebook has made some changes on their end. Unfortunately, we don’t have control over which image they show.
They should show an image in the post itself, or your blavatar or gravatar. You can try uploading larger images to your posts (Facebook ignores images under 200×200). You can also try setting a featured image; ideally, Facebook should look for a featured image before it looks for anything else, but again, sometimes it doesn’t:
